Pursuant to the mutual aid agreement, entitled, "The Fire Protection and EMS Agreement,"
entered into between the City of Watertown and town, and as a condition and term of
said agreement, the town deems it necessary and prudent in order to protect the health,
welfare and public safety of its residents, to adopt the following Fire Protection
Code within the township fire district, or so much of said district which falls within
the boundaries of the town, so as to allow the fire marshal under this Code the authority
and guidance to enforce fire protection and fire prevention measures within the town.
